Innhouse Associates are a team of licensed trade industry experts specialising in accountancy and stock auditing services.
The company was founded in 1998 and has grown into a large firm with offices both in Suffolk and Worcestershire which service clients across the southern half of the UK.
Innhouse work with a range of clients from social clubs and village pubs to casino chains and professional football teams. We’re able to adapt our services to suit all needs.
Clients are looked after as individuals rather than the client having to conform to a set standard, we adapt to your needs and focus on what the client needs from us.
Innhouse Associates was formed by Chris Newsome in 1996, originally a stocktaking company it soon expended into providing payroll, accountancy & consultancy services.
Chris has extensive trade knowledge and enjoys working with focused individuals in all aspects of hospitality including Pub groups (small & large), PLC’s, EIS investments, sole traders, partnerships & limited companies.
Kerry joined Inn House Associates in 2013 as a bookkeeper after spending 3 years in the Hospitality Trade managing two hotels whilst studying and achieving her AAT Qualification.
She is extremely hard working and values the working relationships she has with her clients priding herself on being able to give them a service they can rely on.
In 2021 Kerry became a Director of Inn House Associates due to her dedication to us and her vision to run the perfect Accountancy service.
Neil is one of the founding directors of Innhouse associates.
With a strong trade knowledge including multiple pub ownership previously, he’s well placed to be one of the company’s stock audit specialists and can relate directly to client needs.
Neil is a qualified Fellow of the Institute of Stock Auditors and enjoys engaging with clients in a one on one setting to help achieve their full profit potential.
Neil also has a strong bias towards business development within the company.
Neil Joined Inhouse looking after the payroll division in 2014 and in 2021 became a Director – He has over 20 years experience as an Qualified Accountant and Qualified Teacher and has always worked in the Licensed Trade sector as well as many other areas.
Neil has an eye for detail and maintains high standards of accounts processing and knowledge; his amalgamation of accounts and payroll knowledge is something unusual in the Accountancy sector and a valuable tool for clients to utilise.
Hard work and dedication is at the forefront of what Neil offers clients in an approachable and friendly manner meaning clients are happy to source good quality and informative advice they can use in their businesses.
Before joining Inn House Associates in 2018, Sam spent 12 years in the hospitality industry. During this time he managed variety of establishments including village pubs, fine dining restaurants, hotels, wedding venues & a golf club. Sam is very much a people person and since becoming a Director in 2021 spends a majority of his time face to face with our valued clients, offering advice and guidance based on the detailed financial information the office team produce.
As a partnership of a Pub business we are now in our 5th. year of working with Innhouse Associates an there is great support on offer. Monthly Management Accounts gives us a great insight into our performance and enables us to keep a handle on our costs. The expertise in submitting our Tax returns is invaluable to minimise our tax liability. On a personal level there is always advice a phone call away or face to face visit.
